At Balm in Gilead we believe that God’s plan for you is holistic health, involving health in your spirit, mind (soul) and body as reflected in 1 Thessalonians 5:23 (NKJV Bible) “Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
We are not medical practitioners but a holistic healing ministry that believe in healing through prayer and herbal medicine (or the use of herbs).

Over hundreds of years, natural medicine has been used by many traditions to support and re-balance the body. We believe it is important for you to look after your spirit and your soul by a healthy, positive relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ (John 1:12) and your body by natural or/and medical care.
ABOUT OUR
founder & president
Eunice Akhazemea is the Founder and President of Balm in Gilead Holistic Health Ministry. She trained in herbal medicine and naturopathy at the College of Naturopathic Medicine, CNM London and as a medical missionary at Centurion School of Health, Tennessee, USA.
She is a member of the Association of Naturopathic Practitioners (ANP). She is an ordained pastor in the Redeemed Christian Church of God and currently serves as one of the senior pastors at Open Heavens Christian Centre in London.
